This website is dedicated Will Wilson, a teammate, friend and inspiration. Will died in an auto accident on Sept. 9, 2005. He was in the first weeks of his sophomore year and was coming off a freshman year in which was named the team's top newcomer.

The Crusaders play one of the nation’s toughest D-II schedules, with regular appearances in Division I tournaments. This year’s schedule has three D-I tournaments (Sea Trail Intercollegiate, Charleston Southern Invitational and the Palisades Collegiate Classic), plus trips to Kiawah Island, S.C., and Pine Needles Resort, host of 3 US Women’s Opens

Men's Golf Finishes Third At Charleston Southern Invitational.

The Belmont Abbey men's golf team finished third at the Charleston Southern Inviational, held at the par 72 Crowfield Country Club in Goose Creek, South Carolina. The Abbey finished with a three-day team total score of 903, two shots back of Longwood and 17 shots behind Radford.

The Crusaders, which battled through the final round with influenza-like symptoms throughout the five-man lineup, were led by Conor Tomlinson's tied for 15th finish, posting a three day total of 225. He opened with a 76, rallied with a 71 and carded a 78 in the final round.

Freshman Peter Tarver Jones finished in a tie for 19th after a three-day total of 226. He opened with a 77, rallied with a one-over 73 and closed with a 76.

Matt Chidester posted a three-day total of 229, good for a tie for 26th. He posted an opening round 74, fired a 73 in the second round,and with a 101 degree fever in the final round, battled to finish with an 82.

Stephen Keane finished in a tie for 28th with a three-day total of 230. He opened with a one-over 73, followed that with a 74 and closed with an 83.

Chris Carvill finished in a tie for 50th after  posting a three-day total of 235. He opened with a 76, came back with an 82 and rallied with a final round 77.
